This is a static website. It has no accounts, no comments, and no newsletter. This page explains the little data that does move when you visit.
What this site collects directly
Nothing you type. There are no forms, no logins and no comment boxes on this site, so there is nothing for you to submit.
Server logs
The hosting provider that serves these pages keeps standard access logs, which typically include your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user agent, and the referring page. These logs are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. They are held by the hosting provider under its own retention policy.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising trackers.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links, marked by a disclosure box at the top of the page. When you click one, the merchant or its affiliate network usually sets a cookie in your browser so it can attribute a later purchase. That cookie is set by them, on their domain, under their privacy policy — not by this site. If you would rather not be tracked that way, do not click the link, or clear the cookie afterwards.
Analytics
This site uses no third-party analytics script. Traffic is reviewed only through the aggregate statistics that Pinterest and the hosting provider report, which do not identify individual visitors to me.
Images
Some illustrations on this site are generated with AI image models and are labelled as such by the platforms that support labelling. No images on this site depict real people.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Your rights
Because this site holds no personal data of its own, there is no account to access, correct or delete. For the hosting provider's logs, contact me and I will pass the request on.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses two analytics services to understand which guides people actually read and where they stop reading. Neither one loads until you allow it. When you first visit, a small banner asks; nothing is set unless you choose “Allow”, and your choice is remembered in your browser.

If you decline, the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes the banner appear again.
Separately, affiliate links set their own cookies when you click them — that is how the retailer knows the visit came from here. Those are only set if you click a link, and are covered by the affiliate disclosure.
